“Even with his stripped-back arrangements, he’s got a knack for memorable, meaty hooks that take you down the backroads beside him with the radio blasting,” wrote Pitchfork.
Prior to his superstardom, Zach Bryan originally wrote and played music to pass the time during service in the US Navy. His career kicked off with an album dedicated to his late mother, titled DeAnn, which rose to the Top 6 in Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart. He repeated this feat with the follow-up album, Elisabeth, which bore the 2x Platinum track "Heading South." In 2022, Bryan released his third album, American Heartbreak, topping all three of the Folk, Country, and Rock charts with fan-favorite songs "From Austin,” “Highway Boys,” and the 6x Platinum number-one single "Something in the Orange."
Guest act Matt Maeson is an alt-folk breakout artist from Virginia who has an ear for blues-style progressions. He’s best known for his 2019 debut album, Bank on the Funeral, which introduced the Platinum-certified AA number-one hits "Cringe" and "Hallucinogenics."
Second guest Levi Turner, meanwhile, is a budding country musician who was first to sign under Bryan’s Belting Bronco Records. He dropped his first album, Allergy Season, last June, turning heads with its viral title track and hit singles “Eleanor” and “Drunk Driving Airplanes.”
